How to spot Fake pictures that is posted

Hi All,

As a SBF members, We have our fair share of Services Providers giving out fake promises of the images that is posted on their site. A part of them use photoshop, and these days they use fake images that belongs to real models out there.

So if you guys think that the image are not DI (photoshop) and is real, but you still want to reduce the uncertainty. Here are the steps to follow.

1) Please screen cap or download the image.
2) Go to google, click on images tab.
3) Drag and drop the image file that you have downloaded to the google's image search.

Google's engine smart enough to detect similar images or where could the images be use. Of course you have to do some CSI thinking in tracing and logically thinking about the possibility.

For example, if the images appear in all the "known" site. Most likely they are as real as it gets. Then now you just have to worry about if they did a great photoshop job. I know some bro, might think that i am just tell those service providers to smarten up. However, I am sure none of the service provider are willing to go to the extreme end, to pay someone to optimise the search engine. LOL! Of course these will help the good service providers.

one can also try using www.tineye.com although google image search seem to be a little more updated.

i now screen images first to eliminate the obvious fakes ... save me the $ and time.

Yeap! Too many fake images nowadays especially in $$$$$XXX website.

I guess u have to trust your gut feeling lah..

some tips to share:

1) Look at the photo background carefully usually if got photoshop will have traces, i.e person and background not natural.

2) look at person face and price, usually if FL look too good and perfect and quality is alot cheaper the market price than tendency is that it is photosho/fake.

Anyway before you choose open eye, when go cheong with an open mind, like that will enjoy more, cheers.

For example go to any of the site grab an image that looks to real or too pretty. Then go to google and search it.. you will be amazes!

I dun not want to kill off any of the service providers here. you just have to go and test it yourselves.
