There are various reasons. One is wives or married women are usually more exposed to sex and thus more experienced. As a result they have less inhibitions over sexual matters and are more ready and eager when approched for sex.

Wives or married women are usually (I say usually, not always) emotionally attached so they will not expect too much emotional commitment from you. They are less likely to jump from a high floor of a flat or apartment if the relationship comes to an end.

Wives or married women are usually more matured (should I say older). They realize that there is less time to play the cat and mouse game like those syt. So bros interested in them do not have to spend too much time chasing after them.

One bad point about chasing after these women. Beside the moral issue, if their husbands come to know of the affair, u may end up in hot soup.

Anyway, IMHO, no young man really will be sincerely in luv with older/married women. Well, there are a very minor exception of course.
The bottomline is SEX. Older/married ladies are perceive to be better in sex with regard to respones and simply the man feel less obligated and chances of ending the affair is easier.
