Agreed, a lot of times it's YMMV. Personally I have tried a lot of MLs that had bad reviews from other people, but I had an enjoyable experience and high playability. Could be a range of factors

1) Age
2) Looks
3) Personal hygiene (Body odour, bad breath, dirty finger nails, Pokey stubble when kissing)

Is it the only nameserver? Make sure you remove your local router DNS.

BTW what browser and ISP are you using, are you on mobile or desktop.

Google chrome/safari. ISP is SingTel. Both iphone and iPad also cannot
