I work hard to get to where I am to earn a reasonably comfortable amount. Not millionaire rich, but a little more than what the average middle class earns.

Here's how I manage my finances:

1. Bills.
2. Repayment of debts.
3. Savings.
4. Necessary daily expenses.
5. Emergency funds.
6. PLAY

My own trick that works is - my necessary daily expenses is super low - like budget $30 a day for meals and transport (I take public transport).

I visit FLs in my peak once or twice a week, but now tone down to once every 2 weeks or so, because now I have a (foreign) FB who comes down here once a month or I go travel with her (budget trips around SEA only, she not the high class expectations type) once a month or once every 2 months and do like 2 weeks' worth of fucking in the 5 or so days I am with her.

My PLAY jar also includes expenses like movies, occasional expensive meals with friends, toys, etc.

I realise this won't apply to everyone, but note that I came from a really average middle class minority race in Singapore (not Chinese). My father was a security guard, my mom a part-time maid. I didn't graduate from university.

I also don't drink or smoke, and my only vice is literally just sex.

Find something you're skilled at, develop it, excel at it, and don't just sell your skills to ONE company, but freelance, find side projects, hustle, sell stuff, etc.
