On another note, Antony score a scorcher winning goal for Betis against Fiorentina in the 1st Leg Conference League. And was against his ex-teammate DDG.

Interesting to observe that Antony actually can score with his RIGHT.
His initial attempt with his left was block by Fiorentina players, then he whack in the rebound with his RIGHT.

The referee not only award the penalty but bonus show straight red at Vivian after viewing the pitch side monitor.
Bruno again shows his composure to slot in the penalty to put pussies 2-0 up.

Then can see Bilbao players deflated and the fans went silent.

Pussies hit the final nail with the Bruno goal from open play.

Casemiro again shows his big match experience. Hitting the opener and pulling the strings in midfield. Also cutting off dangers with timely interceptions.

Oh dear, like that say worry for them leh in the return leg....n casemiro is so good knuckleheads in the management still want to sell him in the summer...they shd renew his contract for another year but negotiate with him to lower his salary..like I said, they r always selling away the wrong players n bring in new deadwood players to replace them to

Should be a walk in the park to qualify for final since 3-0 lead, but then as we all know the pussies nowadays, they always fark it up when playing at home.

if man u dun concede in the 1st half on thurs, they are thru to the final. its impt that the senior players use their experience play smart and not let athletic back into the tie, be focussed on killing the game off by scoring 1-2 goals in the 2nd leg, dun fall for athletic dark arts, and have a strong mentality

man u have nth to play for in the PL anymore so will go all out in UEL, athletic is 4th in la liga, they gonna focus more on securing UCL via the league as they are already 0-3 down for the 2nd leg. its likely vs spurs in the final, i feel RA gotta be flexible and use soak pressure and counter with speed style, as playing out from the back against PL teams is suicide

Somehow I feel playing 3 CBs against fast wingers is suicidal. The 2 wingbacks need to backtrack to help with defence.

As for EPL, should just throw in the academy players as starting.

yea it could have been a different outcome if athletic scored from the chances they had as they had all the momentum, the footballing gods smiled on man u that nite

one of the issues with RA system is that it seem particularly vulnerable to transitions and getting stretched on the flanks, like when elanga ran 80m and scored after forest defended a man u corner, or when opponents exploited the space on the flanks when the wingbacks pushed high up. which is why the wingbacks and RCB/LCB need to possess pace, and the 2 MCs need to have pace, high energy, intensity and workrate. ugarte fits the bill and RA has to make do with other MCs for now as they aren't ideal, think mount is also suitable but RA prefers to play him as inside FW. collyer is suitable but he is young and still developing, hope to see him partner ugarte in midfield come next season

one positive thing about this season is can see the academy players breaking thru, fans are optimistic and man u future looks bright
