Man catches wife naked with another man in car at Sengkang car park, gets hit when car driven off




A man went to the multi-storey car park near his home in Sengkang to look for his wife after she did not return home at night — only to find her and her lover naked in the car together.

When the lover attempted to drive away, the man tried to block the hood of the car but fell off when the car accelerated, resulting in injuries.

The incident occurred at the Block 278 Compassvale Bow multi-storey car park in Sengkang at around 2:13am on Jun. 29.

The lover, 50-year-old Chia Hiok Seah, now faces two charges and had pleaded not guilty to the charge of reckless conduct causing hurt to others, according to Lianhe Zaobao.

Husband knew lover before the incident
The husband, Wu Yongsheng (transliteration), was the first to testify for the case against Chia in court on Jul. 1, 2025.

Wu said he knew Chia before the incident, as Chia was a friend of his wife, and he often chatted with her.

He recalled that on Jun. 29, 2024, he felt worried as he could not contact his wife, so he went downstairs to look for her and saw Chia's car in a parking lot.

He recognised the licence plate number of Chia's car, as he had driven the man's wife home before.

Suspicious, Wu decided to record a video as evidence.

He said he did not know if there were people in the car at the time, so he stood next to it for a while and started filming.

As he got closer to the vehicle, Wu realised the occupants inside were naked.

Wu said he tried to open the car door but failed, and asked the two to get out of the car, but they refused.

When Wu noticed that Chia was attempting to drive away, he climbed onto the hood of the car.

Wu said Chia ignored him and continued to step on the accelerator, causing Wu to lose his balance and fall.

Severe pain from injuries caused
The fall caused Wu to suffer multiple abrasions on his face, hands, knees, and chest, mainly on the left side of his body.

Wu said he felt severe pain all over his body from the fall, and that he had blood on his face, shoulders, and hands.

He called the ambulance and underwent surgery a few hours later at around 6am.

He also requested the paramedics and the nurse to take photos of him, as he wanted to know the extent of his injuries.

He said he was the only one present when he was brought to the hospital and during his surgery, he took photos to prove that the injury was not caused by himself.

Wu then filed a police report after he was hospitalised.

When asked by the prosecution why he did not call the police immediately, Wu said he wanted to save himself after seeing how serious the injury was, so he called an ambulance first.

Due to the incident, Wu said he was given a total of 14 days of sick leave and returned to the hospital for the removal of stitches.

He said he would feel pain in his toes during his recovery and would also feel discomfort after walking, adding that there are still scars on his face now.

He also had follow-up visits with the doctor till October 2024, and cannot perform strenuous exercises.
