Lost to Arsenal last weekend is not a failure...Arsenal beat Spurs the previous weekend...Chelsea loss to West Brom...Spurs lost to MU...Newcastle drew at home or almost lost the game if not injury time score...so the BCL is a hotly contested league with great teams...English team may not be reprsented in the quarter finals of Champions League for the first time after so many years...all clubs had to undergo rebuilding...namely Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan, etc...so no diff for Liverpool...
