That's ridiculous. There is no rule as such in football against arguing with the referee. This is not NBA.

Besides you were not at OT. We see only what the cameraman wants us to see. Mascherano ran to the ref because Torres had been fouled and then carded for protesting about persistent fouling.

Football is a game of passion. There's nothing that Mascherano did which was worse than Ashley Cole or John Terry, Wayne Rooney or Ronaldo.

Inconsistency from refs again. That's what's ruining football, not rude players.
