he was liverpool's captain then in the 90s. very elegant player and was easily the best looking player around!!! he is harry redknapp's (portsmouth manager)son. but have to agree with kingeros that he didnt have speed and cant tackle well. oh yes, and injury proned too...

When Platini got the presidency, I got quite worried then cos Pools wasn't in a very comfortable position. Luckily, we managed to do good. Let's hope we dun end up being heart-broken. Luckily Gunners lost. Hope they lose their next match again. And then Bolton overtake them to take 4th .
michel platini got quite a few votes when he declared that smaller leagues should have representation in the champs league, not just the big boys... think he is missing the point here. champs league should comprise of the biggest teams in europe, so that every game is like a gigantic battle. that's the beauty of it all. but dont agree with u that gunners should be out of champs league though. dont hate them cos they play attractive football. but then, u r entitled to yr own opinion, so long as liverpool qualifies.

Bro, me got a similar kinda feeling like U. So far, he hasn't really been very impressive. And now that he just returned, he will also be quite rusty. But on the bright side, his return will give the players on the left side some competition which can only be good for the team.
kewell was quite impressive when he was with leeds. when houllier got him for 5mil, still thought it was good business. guess it was the big fish in the small pond syndrome. with liverpool, suddenly he was just one of the big players instead of the top 2 honchos in the team. guess that affected him a bit, plus he was quite unlucky with injuries. seems like he has a habit of scoring against spurs though, if my memory serves me well.
