Ever since I knew Steve Nicol was doing fine coaching the New England Revolutions, I've been secretly hoping he'd be the LFC manager one fine day in the future.
As a player, he's been one helluva servant ... he's even more "utility" than Carragher, having been played as striker once or twice when the injury list was huge. Such a man can only be a good & loyal manager for the Reds.

Have you ever sit down & think for yourself what the state of affair was when Souness took over ... sure, he was not the best manager but most definitely, he did not destroy everything. IMHO, Dalglish started the rot ... go check for yourself what the average age of the team was by the time he decided to walk out on the Reds.
