I have been to Saigon 7 times in the past year and never had any problems with staying with my FB throughout many different hotels. Had other girls over for ST and overnights without any issues before as well. This includes hotels at satellite towns like Thu Dau Mot.

Understand the more atas 5 stars might be more strict...but again it depends. I stayed once at New World and did not run into any restrictions.

Tio lah it is never a cast in stone thingy

New World no problem is simply becos they have their own Catwalk KTV inside so they need to allow overnighters but do not try with all other 5 stars hotels as they comply very strictly with the law unless you book another room or your GF is not Wetnamese or you are married to your VB
