It is the goodness of God that leads one to repentence. Romans 2:4
Not your will power. Not by condemning or scolding you.
Jesus didnt condemn that woman caught in the act of adultery. It is this goodness that will enable her to sin no more.
Tell me, which came first?
Peter receiving a boat sinking load of fish from Jesus then he fell on his knees to say Depart from me for I am a sinful man? Or Jesus constant nagging that made Peter repent?
It is the goodness of God (much fish) that led Peter to repentence.
So for bros who are still chionging, please know that your God still adores you in spite of what you do.
