Why not? To you it maybe wierd but not to me and perhaps others. Since this is something you do behind your CO, you will do the upmost for confidentiality at any special dedicated time. My CO usually wake up at about 10am on weekends. On few occasions, my appointment were at 8am. By 10am, we were done and have breakfast thereafter or go separate ways. At the same time, CO may or may not called. I will be on the way back home by then after "finish work".
This work for me since it is once in a while and not an everyday thingy. I can understand some bros may have difficulty waking up earlier in the morning knowingly not working on that day. As for me, I have no problem with that. I wake up on average at 6am everyday including weekends.
