Liverpool should have won 3-0 but they messed up,they were hopeless in defence and missed a penalty. Thats football and if they dont wise up then they wont win anything.
Lovren was shit, Moreno can't defend and unfortunately our midfield was not much better save for Gini.
The goals we give away are the most basic simplest goals that the opposition can score!
So far this season we have conceded 13 goals in 7 games, shockingly bad with no relief in sight. It's not like we have a quality defender to come back from injury. We missed out on VVD, then we should have gone for someone like Tah or Koulibaly.
We also miss too many chances to win a title. This refusal to have a clinical number 9 will eventually come back to haunt us - i like Firmino but he should be the support to a lead attacker not the lead attacker himself.
Looking at the Maribor v Spartak Moscow draw, think we should still get through our group, although we have made that eventuality harder work then we needed to - 'The Liverpool Way'
Lastly, and this constantly drives me crazy in games, if you're going to sub on a striker of Daniel's pedigree, please please give him at least 15 mins to get into the game!
I'm not sure what time he came on but strikers need some time to get a touch and try and figure out the quality of the defenders they're facing. Bringing a striker on with
less than 10 mins in a game generally accomplishes nothing
