Having my emotions cool down after the last match I will try to make some sense as what went wrong.
When I first saw the confirmed lineup I was surprised to see no recognised striker upfront for Liverpool. It was a pretty defensive lineup and I thought hosay liao Liverpool is going to pack to pack the bus in front of the Red Devils. But I was wrong. I noticed that BR have change his formation lineup to 3-4-2-1. I thought to myself what only 3 defenders for this match ?

I know deep down that the match was gonna be lost. How can you play 3 defenders against teams like Red Devils .
Next I was pleasantly surprised to see SM really dropped to the bench for the first time. In comes Brad Jones for his ever full match since 2013. I must say I am impressed by his performance. Though he let in 3 goals but he was much better performer than SM. For the first time I see a Liverpool goalkeeper come out of his 6 yard box and successfully made a save. As the game goes on his confidence picks up. If SM had played I feared that the scoreline would have been at least 6 nil. Well done BJ you have my vote of confidence and you deserve to start the next match.
A lot of flak had been taken out on RS . But please all remember that RS is a winger and not a striker. He doesn't have the natural killer instinct just yet. So go easy on the young lad. I have to admit Mario improved somewhat with all of his shots being on target. I have to admit De Gea was in top form and deserved to be MOTM . If without his performance, I think Man U will be licking their wounds instead of Liverpool.
I think everyone knows how the 3 goals went in. There was some poor refereeing decisions as usual. Some senior players were also not performing up to par. Kolo did extremely since he came on to replace the injured Johnson. He should start ahead of Lovren for the next match.
BR is really walking on a thin line. I am prepared to support him until the end of the season as he is the who brought Liverpool back to Champions League. No BPL manager have survived having loss 7 games in a row as far as I can remember.
Its amazing to see that the Liverpool fans at Old Trafford still supporting the team despite being down. Kudos the fans. Hope BR and the team will continue to work hard and get the results. Also less talk before the match would be preferable. Do the talking on the field.
