For me, when I was a visitor to Hatyai (before based here), I normally stay in Novotel Central which is damn cheap at about S$50 whereas in Singapore, you pay S$50 for Hotel 81.

I seriously don't know which hotel is better than Novotel in Hatyai other than JB hotel which is a bit far out.

It not the matter of comparing, it to each of their own preferences.

Of course if want to compare Novotel is one of the good ones that i have ever stay. price maybe a factor to some bros and many other thing such as the locations n etc....

It hard to compare an apple with an orange unless we talking about comparing an apple with an apple but lei apple with apple also got diff quality hehehehe

so it all voice down to each individual what he prefer to stay in.

Bro Golden Crown 650 baht.Best value now for a new hotel.But the down side is it takes forever to check in ,due to the reason that they take too long to "make up" the room (always full and maybe too little house maids?)

The longest time i had to wait was from 8.30am till 12.30am.:( (But enjoyed looking at the receptionist there!)

Now a days i bo stay hotel. base camp in tirak room :p

My fav base camp use to be in Regency New. most of the old bros in the team stay there. with some bros base camp in SGV.

The first hotel i stay was H. Palace hehehe some of the staff still there. i saw them the last time round during songkran 06, i was staying in asia hotel cos bo hotel available leow for that day ; ;

one of the staff can speak cantoness de.

That lady who speak cantonese. Her name is Noi. Nice middle-aged lady, very friendly. Manager name is Miss Lim and a new pretty girl called "bua" (Lotus in Thai)...

In conclusion - seems there is still no hotel having that 3 advantage but same price so maybe I have to live with cockroaches...haha...

Novotel has a clean swimming pool with clear blue water. Where can can you find that? Regency??? kekekekekeke

At S$50 per night with such facilities at such cheap prices... even budget travelers can afford easily lah....

I never stayed at novotel. Maybe can enlighten me if there is the 3 things that I mentioned that I wanted.

I hate small rooms leh :-)

Well...in a city where you can eat nice char kway teow and wanton mee at such cheap prices and book girls over night for $1k baht then $50 do make a difference:-)

Ofcourse in Singapore, $50 can only stay hotel 81. Anyway hotel 81 is very clean...:-)
